Jessica

Another photo shoot testing the Nikon SB-900's using the SU-4 on location. Most of these photos have 2-3 strobes and a reflector, lighting Jessica and the background. These photos were taking inside a building where I could control all the light. The SU-4 is TTL and it worked awesome inside. This makes me wish I had more strobes. Thanks Jessica!

Drug Bust

Tonight I was allowed to ride with two Scranton Police officers, Tom McDonald and Tom Charles, as they busted a few drug dealers. Unfortunately no one got tasered ( it would have made a great pix) but I still had fun!

Test Session with Desirae

This photo shoot was to test some equipment by Nikon. I wanted to see how well the SB-900's could handle an outdoor photo shoot using the TTL creative lighting system. Two off camera SB-900's in soft boxes were used ,with a commander su-800 to fire the strobes. One strobe had an extra power source and the other did not. I wanted to compare recycling time. The stobe without a battery pack took 10 seconds to charge, firing at F8. The other took 3 seconds. I'd say the TTL worked really well! The down side to TTL is the stobes have to be line-of-sight with the su-800 or else they won't fire. That can become a problem in some cases. Desirae, you were awesome!

Here is my setup.

Motorcycle wreck

This 27 year-old guy was going so fast on his motorcycle that he lost control, crossed the median, went through a metal sign post, through another motorcycle, hit the guardrail and ended up 100 + feet over the imbankment. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A husband and wife on the other motorcycle were airlifted to the hospital.

The motorcycle in the background, went through the pole seen at the bottom of the frame. Guys slow down!
